若木　未生（わかぎ　みお）Mio Wakagi

1968年12月2日、埼玉県生まれ。
早稲田大学第一文学部日本史専修中退。
1989年、大学在籍中に『AGE』で第13回コバルト・ノベル大賞佳作入選。同年、コバルト文庫『ハイスクール・オーラバスター　天使はうまく踊れない』でデビュー。
主に集英社コバルト文庫・雑誌『Cobalt』で活躍。その後、各社レーベルや、一般文芸に進出。
日本ＳＦ作家クラブ会員、日本推理作家協会会員。

Mio Wakagi was born on December 2, 1968, in Saitama. She dropped out of Waseda University’s faculty of Literature. In 1989, while she was still a university student, she received an Honorable Mention at the 13th Cobalt Novel Award for AGE. She made her debut the same year with Hai sukūru ōra basutā: Tenshi wa umaku odorenai (High School Aura Buster: Angels Are Bad Dancers), published in the Cobalt bunko collection. Most of her works have appeared in Shueisha’s Cobalt bunko collection and the magazine Cobalt, but she has also written mainstream literature for other publishing companies. She is a member of the SFWJ and the Mystery Writers of Japan.
