谷 瑞恵Mizue Tani
三重県出身。1997年集英社ロマン大賞に入選、小説家となる。デビュー後、コバルト文庫でファンタジー少女小説を執筆。長編シリーズに『伯爵と妖精』がある。その後、2012年に出版した『思い出のとき修理します』が好評を得、現在は一般小説を中心に活動している。
近年は、現代を舞台に手仕事や料理をテーマにしたものなど、日常を生きる人々を描いた作品が多い。また、身近な奇跡や不思議に注目した、『木もれ日を縫う』『神さまのいうとおり』『あかずの扉の鍵貸します』などがある。
Mizue Tani was born in Mie. She became a novelist after being selected for the Shueisha Romance Award in 1997. After her debut, she wrote girls fantasy novels for Cobalt bunko. Her long-running series include Hakushaku to yōsei (The Count and the Fairy) among others. Published in 2012, Omoide no toki shūri shimasu (I Repair Memories) was well-received and she decided to focus on mainstream novels. In recent years, many of her works depict people’s modern daily lives, looking into handcrafting and cooking. She also enjoys writing about mysteries and miracles with works such as Kimorehi o nuu (Sewing Together the Sunrays) Kami-sama no iu tōri (God is Right), and Akazu no tobira no kagi kashimasu (I’ll Lend You the Key to the Door that Doesn’t Open).
