増田 まもるMamoru Masuda
早稲田大学在学中にラングドン・ジョーンズのSF詩「レンズの眼」を翻訳して山野浩一主宰のNW-SF誌に掲載されたときから現在まで、50年間ずっと翻訳家をしている。
翻訳してきたものは詩・小説・評論・ポピュラーサイエンス、さらには図鑑まで多岐にわたるが、すべてSFである。

Mamoru Masuda has worked as a translator for 50 years since he first translated Langdon Jones’ SF poem The Eye of the Lens for NW-SF magazine. He has translated poems, novels, criticisms, popular sciences and illustrated reference books, all of which he thinks as SF (Science Fiction or Speculative Fantasy). His main translations include The Unlimited Dream Company, Rushing to Paradise by J. G. Ballard; Fevre Dream by George R. R. Martin; The Paradise Motel and The Mysterium by Eric McCormack; The Gate to Women’s Country by Sheri S. Tepper; Dead Girls, Dead Boys by Richard Calder; Feersum Endjinn by Iain M.
